Coach AnnMarie Riley is in her first season at Blue Valley Southwest (BVSW) High School and first season as a high school basketball coach.  She is also currently a substitute for the Blue Valley School District.  Prior to that, AnnMarie worked a year as a building substitute/teacher assistant at Heritage Christian Academy, at their elementary campus. Before that, she spent a year as the administrative assistant to Michael Rasmussen, the athletic director, at BVSW.

AnnMarie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, with a concentration in Special Education from Kansas State University (2021).  She went on to teach 3rd grade in the Manhattan-Ogden School District for 2 school years (2021-2023).

AnnMarie grew up in the Overland Park/Olathe area and graduated high school from BVSW in 2016.  She played basketball for 1 season, soccer for 2 seasons, and was involved in marching band/concert band for all four years (flute and drum major).  She went on to be in the marching band at KSU (piccolo) for 4 years.

AnnMarie currently lives in Olathe and has a black and white pointer-mix dog named Bosco.  She is really excited for what this basketball season has in store.
