During our youth development programs, we look to recognize girls for our "Hustle Award". Our hustle award winners will be girls who do exactly that: hustle. But, they also have a positive attitude, encourage their teammates, listen attentively to coaches, and exhibit kindness to go along with their effort. Between our coaches and HS players, we will look for girls who are not necessarily the most skilled, but who stand out with these characteristics. We will recognize a "Hustle Award" winner at the end of each youth development session, where girls selected will be recognized with a photo and award with the HS players.
Any "Hustle Award" winner will be offered to attend a selected home varsity girls basketball game and be an extension of the HS team that night. "Hustle Award" girls will be allowed to be on the court as ball girls during the pregame/halftime warmup, be with the varsity team in the locker room before the game, and given a chance to sit directly behind the bench during the game. They get a firsthand varsity game day experience!
